Cut-off

Cut-off functionality is unique to Omni Loader and currently applies only to Synapse Dedicated Pool target. It allows you to selectively target part of the data to external storage and part of the data to the Dedicated Pool.

Please note that omitting one of the values allows you to load data only to external or only to hot storage, while omitting older data.

Cut-off column

Values in this column decide where the data ends up.

Warm cut-off value

This is the lower cut-off value. Values less than this are completely skipped. Values starting with this value go to external storage.

Hot cut-off value

This is the higher cut-off value. Values less than this go to external storage and values starting with this go to the Synapse Dedicated Pool.
