DSN Utilizes an ODBC DSN which has been previously configured with the necessary connection parameters.
Connection string Choose this if you prefer to directly enter a full connection string. This string includes all necessary details such as host, port, and credentials.
When connecting via a connection string, provide the full connection string that includes the server location, port, database name, user credentials, and any other parameters required by Vertica for connection.
